Lila Bruk is a registered dietician at Lila Bruk & Associates. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry and Bachelor of Science Medical (Honours) degree in Nutrition and Dietetics – both from the University of Cape Town, as well as a Masters in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Stellenbosch in the field of body image in pre-adolescent girls.
Lila has a passion for making healthy eating practical, easy and enjoyable. As a result she writes regularly for various publications and appears regularly on television and radio. Her main areas of interest include nutritional management of sports nutrition, lifestyle diseases, food allergies, adolescent body image and gastrointestinal disorders. Lila is also the chairperson for the Gauteng South branch of ADSA (Association for Dietetics in South Africa) for 2009 to 2013.
