It was a great weekend for Team Muscle Science as Marius Dohne stepped on the Mr Olympia Stage, making him the first South African in over 20 years to be afforded this opportunity. Marius became one of only three bodybuilidng Olympians to come out of South Africa. The others being, the great Reg Park and Gary Strydom.
Marius rocked the stage with his amazing physique and as always, his precise routine. Sadly Marius did not place in the top ten at this years competition, but we are extremely proud of him. Standing on that stage amongst the world's best is an honour in itself.
Marius placed 14th but did not walk away empty handed. Marius took home the FLEX Most Improved IFBB Pro of 2011 award.

This week I dropped my carbs a little because this weekend I'm heading off to Cape Town for the WP Provincials. Tony Freeman is going to be a special guest, flown in from the US to do a guest appearance and I'm looking forward to it.
Last week was a good week of solid training! I gained 5 kilograms and I am feeling nice and thick!
This week its all about getting leaner, slowly but surely chipping away.
Stay tuned to my updates on the Muscle Science Blog, with just under seven weeks to competition date!
